This trip has been a long time planning & work has been extremely hard of late.
I can't remember a time when we've so looked forward to a trip.
Because of the political situation we fly to Johannesburg then to Victoria Falls to meet our guide. We miss the farming areas & major towns this way, all our time is in the bush with light aircraft flights between locations.
We also have emergency plans if the political situation deteriorates. We are near to the Botswana border the first few days then along the Zambezi for the remainder, this is the border with Zambia.
I believe we have one of the best guides for the region so all should be fine.
But who knows? We are stepping out into the bush where anything can happen!
